I've Been Inked!!!

For those of you that know me- I'm sure your mouth is hanging to the ground right now! I have said I wanted a tattoo forever, but haven't been able to find one that I want to look at for the rest of my life. So we went to Oxygen, a tattoo place in Panama City Beach, and there it was! The tattoo kept calling my name-- pick me, pick me!!! So I thought about it for a couple of days and went back on Thursday to get it done (I will include a picture soon). It is a Celtic heart design on my lower back---I absolutely love it and don't regret if for a second!!! Jill also found a tattoo she liked and was inked right after me:) She got a tribal design with a diamond in the middle on her lower back. The design is black but the diamond is filled in using the colors of a rainbow. They both look really great!

The trip was really nice however it didn't all go the way we had envisoned. The weather was fabulous and the condo was beautiful-- it was bigger than our house! We went with some friends and their children and the trip down wasn't too bad. Of course, Jill drove most of the way so I got to relax and enjoy the ride. However, once we got to the hotel the madness started. One of the girls we went with went totally crazy because we weren't able to get into our room. We were all really tired and not in the mood for the delay, but she kept bitching and bitching and did not stop once we got in the room! The bitching continued day after day for one reason or another!!!! Then the straw that broke the camels back for me was when she decided to take her frustrations out on me and went off on me in the car ride back to the condo after dinner one night. I had had enough of her drama and just dished it right back and we did not speak the rest of the trip. She isn't used to anyone standing up to her and she didn't like that one bit. Jill and I decided to leave early so we didn't have to listen to her craziness anymore--- she made it pretty miserable for everyone when she was around so we tried to avoid her as much as possible. When she wasn't around it was really very nice and relaxing for us and we had a great time. However I would never want to go on a trip with her again!

Overall, I guess it was worth going since I came back with a tan, a tattoo, and some great memories with Jill. However, I now have one less crazy friend----the Lord sure does work in mysterious ways!
