One Day at a Time
We are really enjoying being parents, but let's get real--- we are no superheros here:) Parenting is tough! Don't get me wrong, we love this little guy so much, but when he is crying at 2AM for no apparent reason it really wears on your nerves;( So we are taking things one day at a time and each day things become a little more routine and a little easier to handle. I do feel so blessed to have such a wonderful partner to share the joys of motherhood with. She gets up at night, changes diapers, feeds him, cuddles him, plays with him, and I couldn't do it without her! I love her so much and really am tremedously blessed!! Braden is such a sweet baby. He loves to snuggle and is beginning to focus on our faces. I love it when he smiles-- even it is just gas:) He is amazing and our perfect little miracle:)

Oh my goodness, what a little sweet pea! He's SO cute. I love the little polo outfit. And he just looks so tiny...gosh I can't believe Maddie was that tiny just 6 months ago! I feel for you with the 2am crying. Maddie would cry - no scream - for 3-4 hours in the middle of the night. We went through that for a month then found out it was her formula that was causing her tummy distress. We switched to a hypoallergenic one and it provided immediate relief. It was expensive but we would have paid double. We've just transitioned her off the hypoallergenic formula to soy (MUCH cheaper), then in about 4 months, we'll try milk-based formula again. Hope Braden doesn't have that issue and that it's just the late night/early morning fussies that he'll grow out of quickly. Sleep when you can girls! Housework can wait! I cried when I read your description of Jill being so helpful and getting up with Braden, feeding, changing, etc...That so reminds me of my honey too. We're lucky gals, for our beautiful babies and wives!
He is so cute. I have heard the first several weeks are the hardest and then it gets a bit easier... hang in there. I bet you guys are doing a wonderful job!
ADORABLE PICTURES!!!!! Hang in there....I try to keep remembering the phrase "this too shall pass". LOL He's such a cutie!
One day at a time is all you can do right now! I'm glad you guys are kind of settled in though. Routine is KEY. He is such a cutie! When are you planning a trip this way?:)
I love the pictures, and don't get too frustrated.. It is SO normal to feel exactly what you are feeling.. It is SO life changing and hard.. There isn't much that's easy about being a mother! But OH so rewarding.. You are doing wonderful!!!
He is adorable and growing so fast already.. Holy cow!!
So cute!! How adorable is he!!
What a cutie - and it looks like he is already filling out. B and I don't remember parts of the first year with the babies - it's a good thing we took a lot of pictures! The crazy part is that you will adjust and soon enough being up in the middle of the night will be the norm! He is lucky to have such great Mamas!
I'm sorry I'm late, but congrats! He's just gorgeous. Seriously...
I agree with everyone else. In time, you'll get used to it and it will get easier and easier.
He is so beautiful! I'm so happy for you all!
Hello Hello! I had to drop in here with heaps of congratulations for the three of you.
He is simply gorgeous!
Hang in there, it is so very tough but you'll do fine.
