River Rats

Our first trip to the river was pretty interesting! Who knew you would have to pack up your WHOLE house for just a couple days???? Braden really did well on the way there- he pretty much slept until we drove up to the house. We didn't do a whole lot that night, but listen to Jill's cousins band and Braden slept through all that noise!! Then he ended up sleeping in his swing the whole night, which is alright for just one night. I swear he would live in the swing if we let him. The next day we ventured out on the boat with his new itty bitty life jacket. It was so cute on him, but he decided he hated that thing:) It was a beautiful day and Jill and I both got some much needed sun, but Braden got hot so we all took a little dip in the water. He was shocked when his foot hit that cold water and he screamed the whole time he was in there so needless to say that did not last long at all. We headed back to the cabin and he zonked out after a long hot day. We headed home after he ate and he should have slept the whole way, but we were not so lucky. He was fussy the whole way home and that wore the mommas out!! After all the craziness of the weekend he was worn out by that night and he slept good. Jill says we will not go back to the river for awhile, but I say we have to keep giving it try so he gets used to it. So who knows when we will return, but here are some pics of our lastest adventure with baby...
