Yesterday was pretty rough for our little guy! I felt so helpless and sad for him. We just comforted him as best we could and hoped for the best. He got up several timesafter we put him down, but finally passed out around midnight and actually slept until 5AM. I was very surprised that he didn't get up again, but I'm sure he was so worn out from crying and hurting all day. I am planning on staying home with him tomorrow to make sure he is feeling better and finish the steroid meds he was given. Then I guess he will be back at Daycare if he is doing better. I have been slacking on pictures since school started, but I will do better now that we are in a better routine. I just love having all the pictures of him and want to keep it up. So I was happy to see he was in a good mood this morning, which gave me the opportunity to take some pics...
This is his new toy that our wonderful friend Renee let us borrow! He is fascinated with all the lights and new things to explore!!
He didn't like his little chair today so this is his 4 month picture until we can get a better shot:)

sooo sorry to hear about your little guy, ear infections are no fun. Hang in there you guys will make it (and I should remind you that this will be the first of many to come, including some looooong nights, we've see 'em!). Looks like he is feeling better and is soooo darn cute!!! Yell if you need some help, Cassie had 5 ear infections in her first year of life, and one case of croup. I hope that you are getting some rest, I am off to bed, it's back to work for me tomorrow, sniff sniff :(
Oh that poor baby! I dread Gavin's first illness, but since he's at the sitter's for the 1st time today, I know it's coming...all those germy little kids running around! At least he's only there 11-3:30, and he's the only kid there from 11:30 on when the other 2 go to preschool.
Hope he's back to his smiling self soon!
