Feeling Great!

We checked in for the Laparoscopy this morning at 9AM and the nurse I had last year (for first LAP) was there again!! YAY! She was so great and really set my nerves at ease. She said that she hadn't worked all week so it was meant to be for her to be there with me today-- I think she was right! God sure was watching over me:) We got caught up while she was prepping me for surgery which kept my mind busy. When we were finished she said, "I'm going to get your lover!" She is so funny! I love interacting with people that are accepting of our relationship and treat us the same as hetero couples. That just doesn't always happen and it feels so good when it does! The entire staff treated us wonderfully and all the paperwork included significant others. Of course if we were at home in Owensboro that would not be the case, BUT just across the bridge in Indiana it is a lot more open minded.

So back to the LAP--- the procedure went very well and was over pretty quick. Dr. B said that there was not a band, but he did find quite a bit of Endometriosis behind my Uterus so he went ahead and took care of that while he was in there. He said that the Radiologist just might have had an odd angle that looked like something was there, but he checked it out and everything looks great. Last year, I was in quite a bit of pain afterwards, but this time I feel great. Don't get me wrong, there is a little discomfort but I can handle that just fine. I hope it stays the same tomorrow! After the surgery Dr. B talked to Jill and filled her in about the surgery and what he found. He also told her that we should get ready to have a baby!!! It feels so good to hear other people say that, especially the doctor! So now my positive thinking is going into overload and I am super excited about creating our little miracle!!!

Thanks to everyone that included us in their thoughts and prayers! You gals are so wonderful and I appreciate your friendship in life and online! Please continue to keep us in your prayers and send lots of babydust our way. We will be trying next month in June and WE WILL GET A BFP!!!!!!
