Prayers Please

A good blog friend just found out that she miscarried and has a scheduled D& C this week. She found out she was pregnant a few weeks ago and has had a couple of ultrasounds. At the last one they thought they would see the heartbeat but they didn't. The doctor asked her to come back in a week because it might have been too early. She went in today and received the sad news. She is really having a tough time... Please say a prayer for Laurie and her family.

On the home front- I am doing a little better today. When I logged on to my email I saw a huge list of messages from all my blog friends with supportive and encouraging words. You have no idea what that means to me!!! My eyes teared up but I had a huge smile on my face! It was the right "medicine" for me:) Thank you all so VERY VERY much!! I love you all!!!

I don't want to scare ANY ONE. I JUST heard a story about a woman who got pregnant and started bleeding. They told her that she had miscarried and that they would need to do a D&C. They did an ultrasound and the heartbeat was gone. It looked like an empty sac.
She said she didn't want to have the D&C because she felt like it was aborting her baby.
Well...she would have. She ended up having a baby girl through this and had she had the D&C she would not.
They are a gay couple so it wasn't like she ACCIDENTALLY got pregnant aftewards.

Again. I have miscarried and had a D&C.
I'm just telling you so that you know :)
